Oxford is a pretty, alpine (300m) country village in the foothills of the Alps. Enjoy browsing in the original gift shops. Visit the amazing Art gallery and have a coffee at the trendy TV celebrity "Jo Seagar's Cafe".
The Sunday morning Farmers Market is held in the centre of the village and sells fresh locally grown produce. There are plenty of great tramping and mountain biking tracks just behind Oxford. Mt Hutt ski field and Porters High ski field are both a one hour drive from Oxford. Christchurch is a 45 minute drive. Rangiora is 25 minutes away.
Come and Experience Oxford and New Zealand for yourself. Willem (retired) and Ineke (nurse, Reiki practitioner) are very easy going Dutch Kiwi's. We have a large kitchen table... (stands for Dutch hospitality:), lots of tea and coffee and always time for a chat. English, Dutch , German and a little French spoken.
Look forward to meet you !
We
hope you like our dogs, Boris the robust Afghan Hound and
Simmi the soulful Cocker Spaniel. They are very loving and will give
